Morning Musume – NHK Latest Hits: Wednesday J-POP

Morning Musume are finally getting promoted more, which I think is fantastic. Music Fighter is in my opinion the best show for them to go on (the style suits them), but I’ve yet to see the Nanchatte Renai TV schedule so I don’t know if they’ll be appearing on there. I don’t know why I’m talking about Music Fighter though, as this post is about NHK’s Latest Hits lol. I’ve actually never heard of the show before, so maybe it’s something new (or I’ve not been paying attention), but Morning Musume had a talk segment and then performed three songs – Nanchatte Renai, Love Machine and Shouganai Yume Oibito. It’s not available on the tracker yet, but rest assured that when a HQ copy becomes available, I will cap the hell out of it ^^ For now though, here are the videos, courtesy of You Tube.

①　Talk

As you can easily understand, the topic of LA was brought up. I can’t wait to read a translation of this, as I really want to know what they were saying about the fans. Hopefully it’s not bad lol.

②　Nanchatte Renai

Risa seriously looks Korean with her hairstyle, which is a total plus in my book :D The way they perform this song is no different to how it is in the PV, which is good because I like the dance a lot ^^ Man the outfits, and the song are so epic ♥♥♥

③ Love Machine

They sing Happy Birthday to both Sayumi and Koharu before they start, and then make them talk about being 20 and 17 respectively. So cute!!!

I’ve haven’t grinned so much during a Morning Musume performance as I was during this! I freaking love the dance for this song, so much so that I do part of it in work sometimes, much to the amusement of my colleagues. Although strangely I’ve managed to get some of them to join in with me ^^ Anyway…Risa’s been doing the opening YEEEEAH~! to this for ages, and I totally prefer hers over Yossie’s (very biased opinion, due to the fact that I don’t like Yossie lol). Seriously awesome performance of this song ♥ Even though it was released before any of the current line up joined, their version pisses all over the so called ‘golden gen’! Seriously!

④ Shouganai Yume Oibito

Risa ever so slightly ballsed up one of her lines in this song *hangs head in shame* Out of the three songs performed, this is my least favourite. I love the outfits they wore in the PV, and the dance shot was pure smex, but I dunno. It kinda brings the atmosphere down, which is a pity after they’d just sang Love Machine and got the place rocking. Still a great performance from all of them, and at least it wasn’t Nai Chau Kamo >_<
