I wasn’t going to post my latest gets until I’d received all the parcels I was waiting on but something completely unexpected was delivered today so I had to get this done. I use a certain 3rd party company for my Hello! Project FC membership and unfortunately their website isn’t very informative as it just shows links and prices for items but no names. Couple that with the fact that UFA takes months to send items out means that when you click on a link to remember what you’ve ordered they usually end up being dead, thus I have no recollection and no way of finding out what the 9 orders I had placed through them were. Last week I got a number of e-mails saying that a few of my Hello! Project orders had arrived at the warehouse so I put them together in to one package which ended up weighing 5.2kg and costing an absolute fortune to deliver. I had no idea what the items were… (<_<) Said parcel arrived today (luckily not stopped by customs) and it was fucking HUGE!!! Upon opening it I came to a second box inside which said グラス (GLASS) on the sticker and I realised it could only mean one thing…! I cut the selotape open carefully and then stood there which this huge, cheesy grin on my face for ages taking in what I had before me. Wanna know what it was? Well you’ll find out at the end of this posy. Here’s all my recent GETS! though and I will just say that none of these were purchased since starting my abstinence!

How fucking awesome!!! I can only imagine her face whilst she was writing my name (^_^);
Her handwriting is appalling so I think that says “SAHIBE” (さひべ) after my name so if anyone can translate that for me I will be incredibly happy. I’ve also concluded that it says “YOROSHIKU CHUU♥SUU” (よろしくちゆ♥すっっ) after her name which again, if anyone can help me translate I’ll be happy. I understand “Yoroshiku” but I not the rest.
I’m now gonna get this re-framed and hang it on my wall next to my signed Morning Musume t-shirt (which is currently at the framers) then it’ll be like the start of a Hello! Project shrine for me to worship at (>_<) I can’t see anything surpassing the awesomeness of this for a while and I know I’m gonna be staring at it for ages. I’m still incredibly sad that Koharu was graduated from Morning Musume but at least this way I know I will not forget her any time soon!

I’d need a HUGE coffin and many bearers if I wanted to be buried with it so instead I think I’m gonna go down a Viking style cremation route. Put it all on a wooden boat with me in the centre, then set it on fire and push it out to sea! That way no-one can has my stuff as I will take it with me to the afterlife :P
I don’t think the photo shows how big this awesomeness is so I will take another one tomorrow. I’d say it’s roughly A2 size in English money so I’ll put a CD next to it for comparison!
Gotta admit, thats certainly something. Pretty damn incredible when you see it, and I’m only seeing a picture. I can’t imagine what you must have felt when you opened that package.
I can’t really help with the writing much. The bit after your name, no idea. I’d say it’s probably a word I’m not familiar with. The end bit though, I’d say you are probably right with that. Though the ‘ちゆ’ could be a ‘ちゅ’ if she was trying to incorporate that (You know what ‘ちゅ’ is the sound for in Japanese don’t you?).

the yoroshiku bit, i think its in 2 parts, its “yoroshiku” and “chuuuu..su” I’m guessing that is a kiss from koharu.
as for “sahibe” its not even a word… tell celga to send a letter to ask koharu to write another one, more neatly lol
@Zorrander – It is pretty impressive I have to say, although it looks kinda small in that photo which is why I’m gonna take another one tomorrow. Also retaking the photo because I don’t like the flash mark or the fact that it doesn’t stand out against my white bathroom wall… Opening it was crazy though! I’m surprised I didn’t pass out as I was holding my breath the whole time lol. I did know that ‘ちゅ’ is the Japanese onomatopoeia for a ‘kiss’ but as she made the end ‘っ’ so different to ‘つ’ I didn’t think it could be that. After what yourself and TerryXX said though I think it makes more sense, what with the ♥ and all. The only crappy thing about it (I think) is the poor choice of mounting board and frame colour. Magnolia doesn’t go with the panel at all and the white frame is naff. I’m definitely gonna get it re-framed in to a black frame but at the moment I don’t know what mounting board colour to use.
Question – Did you order a Risa one?
@TerryXX – Thanks for clarifying that. I’m now wondering just how many people Koharu’s ‘kissed’ as I might catch something… *coughlamecough* Do you have any idea of what those two characters after the ‘さ’ could be? I only picked ‘ひ’ and ‘べ’ because they looked the nearest too it. If there was any chance I could get UFA to send me another one I’d probably get something similar back. This is just Koharu and her spazzy writing which personally I love. I just wish I knew what the fuck she wrote!!! (<_<)

Jesus Liz, you are one lucky woman. was it a lottery that you had to apply for, for the koha singed thing. Did it come in a hughe cardboard box or something.
You know what Lolli, the more I look at that bit after your name, the more I wonder what Koharu was trying for. The ‘さ’ is definitely obvious. The thing next to it doesn’t resemble any other kana but a ‘ひ’ and I swear it almost looks like it’s supposed to be an ‘a’. And then the think next to that looks like ‘べ’ but it’s wierd that she’s actually crossed the Dakuten (the little ” marks) over the character. To me it would seem sensible to suggest that it should be ‘さん’ there, since it’s after your name but that looks nothing like it. I don’t know, maybe she was trying for ‘さっん’ or something? I’ll be really interested to find out what it’s supposed to be, if we ever do. But at least it seems that she gave you a kiss XD
And I still haven’t made up my mind on the signed pics on the FC page. I’m being a total idiot, I can’t decide what to do. But they are still there tempting me. Though I think you know which one I’ll be ordering if I do and it wont be Risa.

I think that perhaps you should put it up on the Japanese general language thread, I’m sure someone can figure out what it is. Though it could be that we’ll never know unless you got the chance to ask Koharu herself. At least she wrote your name neatly anyway :)
Also, what does the little silver panel say? I can read ‘Morning Musume Kusumi Koharu’ but not the bit below.

@Zorrander – It is pretty huge, even I was surprised by the size of it. I’m not sure about the ones they’re doing now but at a guess I’d say they’d be about half the size. This was for a graduation after all… According to two people on H!O the ‘べ’ (but with the lines across the character) is how they write ‘へ’ (E) when addressing someone and it equates to ‘To’ in English. You learn something new everyday eh?! The little panel just says ‘Photo Frame’ at the bottom lol, with ‘2010 Up Front International. Hello! Project’ written under that. Nothing overly special but I will get it swapped over to my new frame. Kung Fu Husstle is awesome, haven’t watched it in years though (<_<)

When I wrote those letters to Risa and Ai I was told to write ‘新垣里沙へ’ with the ‘へ’ meaning ‘to’. So, she just used a variation of that. So the funny little thing we thought might be ‘ひ’ is actually ’ん’. Wow, I learned something new, I never realized that ‘べ’ could be used as ‘to’. I’m glad you finally know the answer to the mystery of what she wrote. Hell, I’m glad to finally know as well, it was making me curious. And thanks for answering about the little silver panel. I guess I should have expected that it wouldn’t be anything important written on it XD
And yeah, I think the newer signed panels are probably about half the size.
The more I look at that picture the more I keep thinking how awesome your signed panel is.

@ Zorrander – I don’t think it’s specifically ‘べ’, just that they add two little – what did you say they were called – dakuten across the character for some odd reason. If I was still taking Japanese lessons I could’ve asked my teacher but damn me for deciding to work overtime to go back to Japan instead of studying the language (<_<) As this is UFA I’m surprised it even has a plaque on it! Even though it’s not very interesting I think it finishes it off and makes it different to a signed, framed poster.

@ kohariin – I got it from the Hello! Project Fan Club (^_^) You won’t get Koharu ones anymore unless she does them for the M-Line Fan Club. She is now considered part of M-Line right?
