Yep, Risa is STILL a hardcore Disney fan which makes me feel better about being one of her hardcore fans. Actually, I never felt bad about it, I just wish that I could do more to show her how much I idolise her *sigh* When I next go back to Japan I’m gonna make sure to hit up Disney Sea in her honour as she mentioned that was her favourite out of the two parks. I just wonder if her favourite character is still Stitch. Hmm…

Firstly, I want to apologise for my lack of updates. I’m kinda in another world at the minute (I’m not talking about Final Fantasy just yet) because I so desperately want to apply for the Risa, Eri and Lin Lin Morning Days Tour but all the rigmarole that goes into it is proving kinda frustrating. I’m not sleeping well because I’m so anxious about it all and this is not going to halt any time soon, even if I do manage to get my application in on time. Why? Because the places are given out on a lottery system so there’s a chance that I won’t win a place even though I’ve applied and all *sigh* Poor zorrander is having to put up with my “what’s happening?” PM’s which probably isn’t helping him as he’s in the same boat as me so hopefully soon we’ll have something sorted out.
Anyway…on to the main point of this post which is…
MY COPY OF FINAL FANTASY XIII CAME TODAY!!!
I’ll now be investing as much time as I possibly can in to completing this game – which will no doubt mean even fewer blog updates – and I’m not going to give up until I’ve done so! The thing is, even though I really enjoy playing RPG’s I kinda suck at them / get easily irritated with them so to help me overcome this problem I also bought the official strategy guide. Mind you…I couldn’t just buy any version, oh no! I had to buy the Limited Edition hardback version (^_^)

I ordered the Regular Version of this purely for the photocard but to be honest I prefer the cover of the Limited Edition. I mean, Risa’s leg = WOWZERS!!! I didn’t like the profile photos featuring these outfits or hairstyles but they look a lot better here. Ai-chan’s leg placement in the Limited looks a bit random though. Makes me think of “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” (o:28). Just me? Okay, I’ll laugh to myself then…
*watches* LOLOLOL I love that advert *wipes tears*
Once the album has been released I will write a review but so far Genki Pika Pika hasn’t done anything for me. Until then I’ve just gotta pray hope that the photocards look just as awesome as the LE cover. Oh…and that I get a Risa one.

Today I collected this from the framers -
Platinum 9 Disco Final T-Shirt which I got signed in AX!!!
Even though he’s had it for ABSOLUTELY AGES (read: 7 months) I’m really happy with the job he’s done so all is forgiven. Well, that and the fact that he took £30 off of the price (^_^) As I haven’t seen this since August it was really nice to get it in my hands once again and as such I’ve been admiring it evertime I walk past my bedroom door lol. I decided to hang it above my bed in a place which used to be occupied by two signed movie posters (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban / Lord of the Rings Two Towers) and it’s so god damn heavy that if it falls on me in my sleep I’ll either be killed instantly or brain damaged (@_@) Totally worth it though…maybe… For anyone who wants to know it’s mounted on silver board in a silver and black box frame. Because the perspex is really clear it reflects a lot which meant I had to stand at a random angle to take the photo. That’s why the mounting board looks kinda looks grey / white.
I said that once I had this back I would write up what happened at the two autograph sessions I attended so expect that within the next week or so along with photographs of the other item I got signed – the Platinum 9 Disco visual book.
*note to self – In future don’t use the words “no rush” when you don’t mean them.

THIS IS WHAT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!
Risa and Eri on the same tour is pretty darn awesome although I won’t deny that at the moment that I’d rather she was paired up with Sayumi instead. I suppose Eri is a worthy runner up and having Lin Lin there means crack to the max!!! Also, the fact that Lin Lin speaks incredibly good English could work to my advantage as well. How? Because I’m very much hoping to attend this tour with both zorrander and – fingers crossed – gordo from Hello! Online. The only thing stopping me at the moment is the fact that I’m unsure if I can get the time off of work (<_<)
I visited Nikko on a guided tour in 2006 and it was such an amazing place I’m really glad that Risa’s Morning Days is going to be held there. Tokugawa Ieyasu’s Mausoleum and Shinto Shrine – Nikko Tosho-gu is really beautiful place and as such is well worth another visit. The famous Kegon Falls is also in Nikko so I will be sure to hit that up again. Hopefully I won’t see any suicidal teenagers whilst I’m there (why do I have interest in the places where people take their lives?). If I do go over I will probably stay for 2 weeks and visit many other places in Japan with Yokohama being a dead cert. I also want to travel to Nagoya again as I really liked the castle there when also visited it in 2006. I just need to find things to do in and around Nagoya.
The Morning Musume Pika Pika Spring Tours final two dates are the 4th and 5th of May so I have no doubt I’ll be attending both of them. More than likely both the afternoon and evening concerts on both days. I just wonder if I can get a front row seat for the final?! Applications and payment for this tour have to be made by the 31st March so if I could ask all my loyal readers to keep their fingers crossed for me that’ll be most appreciated. I could do with all the luck I can get right now what with needing the time off of work and actually winning a place on this tour…
