In the “What do you want me to deco” I got a lot of iPod cases as suggestions
so this time I went with dual—–!!! and worked hard to make 2 cases!!!!
I mean I want to give them to as many people as possible ☆
I’d be so happy if you guys put on this cover and listened to Morning Musume songs with it ☆

♥♥♥
It’s been so long since Risa updated her Deco blog (6th Jan) that I actually had to go back through my own blog to remember how I laid my own translation posts out (>_<)
Two iPod cases up for grabs this time. As I don’t have an iPod (iPhone baby) and thus have no use for one of these I won’t be applying when she starts the ‘competition’. Mind you, I don’t think something minute like “not being able to use the item” will stop many of the FC members from submitting their ideas / thoughts. I just seems I have become noble sometime during my last trip to Japan…
Will it be my downfall?

As you are all no doubt aware, Morning Musume announced that they will be Guests of Honour at the Japan Expo in Paris during July.
The actual announcement was made by Sayumi during the opening MC at the two final Pika Pika concerts in Nakano, Tokyo and as I was in Japan at the time – and would be for another week and a half – it resulted in me flapping about for the following week in an attempt to get all the information I needed about the expo, time off of work and the required tickets for me to attend it. After 4 international phone calls (my friend is ace), rushed PM’s to La’aKea on H!O, a drive in to work whilst I was still technically on holiday (I was back in the UK by this point) and 3 more phone calls to my boss I’ve managed to secure my place at Morning Musume and Hello! Projects first event in Europe! Phew (>_<)
None of this would’ve been possible without the awesomeness that is La’aKea so all the credit needs to go to her. I know she keeps telling me not to worry but seriously, there’s not many people I know who would be willing to spend €164 of their own money securing a ticket and expo pass for someone they’ve never met . So thanks to her I’m lucky enough to have one of the Morning Musume Premium packs and a 4 day convention pass. For anyone who doesn’t know the pack contains:
♥ A Poster
♥ A T-Shirt
♥ 10 Badges
♥ A Set of 3 Collector CD’s
♥ A Priority Ticket for the Concert
I will be in Paris between the 30th June and 5th July as I’m hoping to both greet Morning Musume at the airport when they arrive and wave goodbye to them at the airport when they leave. At the moment I only have a place to stay between the 1st and 3rd of July (also thanks to La’aKea and her friend) so I really need to find cheap accommodation for the nights of the 30th June and 4th July. If anyone reading this is staying near the Charles de Gaulle airport and has a spare bed and wants to put me up for either of those nights (or both) let me know. Once again, La’aKea has helped me out with this. I’m seriously in her debt!!!
As I’m not really interested anything that the Expo has to offer outside of Morning Musume I’ll probably be looking to do some sightseeing around the Paris area whilst I’m there. So far a few of us have our hearts set on Disneyland (a must as a Risa fan) and I’ll probably try to check out the smaller, non orange version of Tokyo Tower. So what else is there to do / see? France has never really been on my list of ‘places to visit’ so I don’t have any real clue as to what’s there apart from what I’ve seen in films. I still have plenty of time to make some firm decisions but if any of my readers are also attending this event and would like to meet up, give me a shout and we’ll sort something out. I’ll no doubt be incredibly generous and bring some Hello! Project items with me to give away as freebies – yes, that is the type of person I am – so if you’re not sure whether you really want to meet me or not, that could prove to be an incentive. As for how to spot me? Well I’m thinking about getting an OMAME.CO.UK t-shirts made up as a bit of self promotion so look out for that. Oh…and I’ll also be wearing a Stitch costume (^_^)
6 weeks before this happens. COME ON!!!
See ya all there!

No, I didn’t whack the shit out of my keyboard whilst writing the title of this post. That there, dear readers, is the name of the Icelandic glacier volcano which began spewing out epic amounts of volcanic ash on the 14th April and is still going on now, albeit with less intensity. Why the hell am I blogging about this I hear you say? Well for a while the ash that it was choking out nearly scuppered my chances of attending the Morning Days 5 Tour and consequently made me so freaking mad that I couldn’t find the willpower to talk to anyone, let alone post to my blog.
For anyone who doesn’t know, the plume drifted in to airspace above large parts of northern Europe so many airports – including all British ones – stopped flights on the 15th April for fear that the ash could get in to the engines of the planes and make them fail. Airports then remained closed until late 20th April so for 5 days I was absolutely beside myself and a bit of a bitch to be around. It was totally justified though!
To be completely honest it’s not all plain sailing (or should that be flying) yet as the blasted thing could start spewing out copious amounts more of ash at any moment and if the wind changes direction the UK will become covered in it again. Whether airline companies will take the risk and fly in the ash is unknown, especially if we end up getting more then we did before, so until I actually get up in the air I can’t relax. I seriously cannot miss this trip so I’m currently in the process of concocting a back-up plan incase the shit ash hits the fan. Something along the lines of getting a ferry to the south of Spain and getting a flight to Tokyo from there should do the trick. Drastic? Yes, but totally necessary.
Anyway, I just wanted to explain why I hadn’t updated in a while, especially seeing as I’m supposed to be doing the 2nd part of my Morning Musume DVD Magazine 29 series. I will report that I have started taking screen caps and nono:)bbz is currently working on some gifs for me so I might just cover the earthquake simulator part of the DVD. I fly out to Japan (volcano permitting) on the 30th April so fingers crossed that I’ll get round to completing the post before then. If I don’t I sincerely apologise *bows*

Eyjafjallajokull is apparently pronounced ay-yah-flaht-lah-yer-kuh-lurkh…or something (o_O)
So “How do you solve a problem like Eyjafjallajokull?” Fuck knows, it was just the first thing that came in to my head whilst writing the title. Giant fans perhaps? *shrug*

This afternoon I got some amazing news in the form of an e-mail from gordo. In this e-mail he informed me that I was lucky enough to get a place on…
Risa, Eri and Lin Lin’s Morning Days 5 Tour!

FUCK YEAH!!!
zorrander also has a place (as I believe our applications were done on the same sheet) so look out Japan!!! We’ll be there from the 1st to the 14th May (tentative) so if any of my readers happen to also be in Japan around that time and want to meet up just send me an e-mail. So far plans for this trip include: Pika Pika Concerts (Final), Cat’s Cafe Parfait Challenge, Disney Sea In A Day and Epic Trip To Reina’s Fukuoka. We will also be hunting down various locations which were used for H!M / HM@ / Hanbun Esper episodes or Photobooks which should be quite fun.
I seriously can’t wait!!! *starts counting down the days*
