Popping first post cherry in 3…2…1…

I don’t think there’s a better way I can open this new blog then with the post I have right now. Why’s that you say? Because it contains alcohol, and in the UK alcohol is a stable part of any ceremony / special occasion. Even something as dire as funerals (yeah, I don’t know where that came from either). Moving on…

This is a excerpt from an Ongaku Gatas radio show episode, where a fan sent in a letter about Yossi and Risa drinking together. Yossi decided to explain about the night in question and it’s pretty darn funny. Everything here has been translated by darje and brought to my attention by tensai87. So all thanks should go to them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fan Letter: Everyone in Ongaku Gatas, good evening. Morning Musume’s Niigaki-san talked in the radio about Yoshizawa-san coming to her house to drink together with her. Yoshizawa-san can apparently hold her alcohol really well, so she stayed up drinking with Gaki-san’s mom and dad after she’d gone to sleep; please talk about that particular moment. Are the other adult Ongaku Gatas members good at holding their alcohol as well? If there are any other anecdotes about heavy drinking, please talk to us about them.
Yossi: So this finally came up. I’d much rather this didn’t get announced on the air though. Yeah, I did go drinking with her. That day I got a mail saying “What are you doing today, Yoshizawa-san?” from Gaki-san. After futsal practice I didn’t have anything else to do, so I told her “Nothing”. What to do, where to go? I ask her, but Gaki-san always tells you “The good building“. There’s this “good building” in Yokohama Bay.
Konno: Yeah, she says that a lot.
Yossi: In the good building, there’s this fairly famous garlic shop that Gaki-san always goes to.
Konno: Should’ve known you went there. lol
Yossi: Yeah, after going there, the following day Gaki-san always stinks. It’s a sort of “you went to the garlic shop yesterday, didn’t you” no-joke smell, mind you. “But it’s delicious”, she always says. So anyway, “I’ll show you around the good building, Yoshizawa-san”, and off we go to the good building. We go to the garlic shop, have lunch. Since Gaki-san has turned 20 years old, ‘Let’s go drinking, since you’ve been waiting for this for a while’ I say, and when we did just that Gaki-san’s spirits went through the roof.
Konno: Really? lol
Yossi: Gaki-san got fairly drunk. Heading back home, she’d say things like “Yoshizawa-saaan, jusht a moment, itsh over heeere”. At home we found her dad and mom. They told me “Please stay over for the night”, but I went “But the whole family’s here, right?”. They told me “welcome” in unison. Her dad tells me “I hear you like to drink, Yoshizawa-san” while bringing over the champagne, “it’s fine, drink some more”. We toast, and by this point Gaki-san is pretty much smashed. Next day she asked me “Did I say something embarrassing?” several times over. Well, halfway through, Gaki-san passes out. Funny thing is, Gaki-san’s dad asks me “Didn’t you come to change clothes?” or something like that. I was wearing a representative, uh… a soccer, um…
Konno: Uniform? lol
Yossi: I’d come wearing my uniform. “You shouldn’t come wearing your uniform, can you?”, they tell me. lol So we’re talking about this and that while Gaki-san sleeps. By the way, Gaki-san’s mother is pretty good at holding her alcohol as well. Her dad had work the next day so he also went to sleep at some point, but I went on with her mom pretty much until morning.
Konno/Sengoku: Incredible…
Konno: It seems amusing.
Yossi: At some moment we also played a concert DVD from Morning Curry times, so that kinda looked like a live-corner thingamajig. It was fun. Also, at some point Gaki-san mentioned calling Konkon.
Konno: That’s true, it was probably that day. Since Gaki-san turned 20 we talked about going out to drink, I actually received a mail about that today. But I always have school or the moment is just not the right one, so I haven’t gone out to drink yet.
Yossi: Really? Then let’s gather at Gaki-san’s house soon.
Konno: At Gaki-san’s?
Yossi: Let’s all gather at their house!
Konno: Let’s lol
[...]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Reading about Risa going out and getting ’smashed’ got me really excited lol – I don’t know why (nothing pervy I might add)! Possibly because I do enjoy going out and getting totally ‘off my trolley’ with my friends…sometimes (moderation yo!). I just wonder what Risa drank to make her like that. Okay…if she’s a good girl then this would’ve been the first time she drank alcohol, so even a few could’ve had that effect on her. But I personally don’t believe she is that angelic! Especially seeing as her parents were pushing champagne in Yossi’s direction after they arrived at her house.

Hmm…anyone want to hazard a guess at her choice of tipple? For the lols ^^

For anyone interested, turbos86 has been translating Reina’s Five Star radio show over at H!O. I don’t know how long he / she has been doing this because I never venture into the Reina thread, but they now seem to be getting posted on the front page of the forum. Even though I don’t listen to her show, I thought I’d have a quick read through one just to see what kinda things she talks about. Well…I had only read the first part of the translation when I found myself deeply amused by what happened between Reina, Jun Jun and a picture of Reina in the bath!!!

Confused? Intrigued? Well I’ve posted the relevant part of the translation so read on to find out more ^^

Tanaka Reina’s radio show FIVE STARS: 2008.11.26 (translation by turbos86)

Just recently, on my day off, I had an urge to take a bubble bath since I haven’t had one for a long time. You know how it’s used to relax and soothe your muscles but somehow I thought, “Let’s see how much bubbles I can make!” I was kicking so hard in the bathtub, the foam almost overflowed out of the bath. I was having so much fun, screaming out “Waaaa~”, and then I thought, let’s take a picture. So I had bubbles on my head and I took the pic. Then, I thought, “Let’s send the pic to the other members (mobile phone mail).” But then I thought, isn’t it awkward to send people something weird like this, especially on your day off. They’ll be confused as to reply or not to something like this. However, at that moment, I was so excited, I thought whatever, let’s send it out anyways. First, I sent it to Gaki-san, whom I thought, probably will have the best reaction. It turns out, it was totally the opposite and she just replied with, “Eh, it’s a bubble bath.” Not much reaction from her, so that failed. From Sayu, who talked a lot about me on her own show. Um, I have a solo song called “Kira Kira Fuyu no Shiny G”. She said “Looks like you’re all covered in Shiny G, let’s work hard for tomorrow’s concert!” The best reply was from JunJun. Like, “Uh oh! It’s making me imagine a lot of things ♥♥♥” The next day, when I asked her about it, she said she really imagined a lot of things looking at that picture. So I asked her what she imagined. “For example, Tanaka-san being beside me…” So I was like, “Wait a second! You were imagining us in the bath together?” And she was like “Yeah!” Then I replied with, “Are you perverted?!”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I seriously lol’d so hard when I was reading that. How freaking cool is Jun Jun eh? Just willing to come out and tell Reina that she imagined them both sharing a bath! I know it’s not unusual for people to bathe together in Japan, but I think that it’s more reserved for Onsen and members of your own family. Although I could be wrong. I wonder what Jun Jun’s reply was to Reina’s ‘Are you perverted?!’ I would love to know ^^
I didn’t continue with the rest of the translation because I was too busy day dreaming about what I had just read. But I agree with what Shirow said to me – it is a pity that it was Reina and not someone else. Dunno who though…maybe Eri? *dreams*
If anyone wants to read the rest of the translation, head on over to H!O. Other than that I just have one thing to say…
Jun Jun rules!!!
I bow down to thee ^^
4th favourite Musume? I think so!
There’s probably only one person that will understand the title of this post, but I thought ‘what the hell’…
Story:
I was bored in work last night so I decided I’d park my butt in front of the work computer, to check my work e-mails. When I got to the office I was shocked to find that we had a sparkly new stainless steel computer desk (woo~) and proceeded to rummage through the drawers ^^ What I found in there was the most amazing pair of glasses that I have ever seen in my life…for realz!!!
After taking them out to my colleagues I spent the rest of the night (about 5 1/2 hours) wearing them ‘on the line’, and for some bizarre reason…making noises like a cat fighting (???). In my defence, the team of staff I was working with had been singing Christmas Carols and songs from Musicals for the majority of the night, so cat noises were not out of the ordinary. Especially seeing as we had a whole ‘on the farm’ and ‘in the jungle’ sounds thing going on at one point…
*digressing*
After not much thought I decided I’d pilfer the glasses, and brought them home so I could have some ‘fun’ with them, hence this post.
So without further a do, I first present to you, the best model ever sporting the best glasses ever!!!
XD
Then here’s the video that will make you understand the caption (if you didn’t already know it), and started my whole ‘obsession’ with this saying. Props to Shirow who made me practically piss myself with laughter when he sent me the link to this video >_<
XD
I know, I know…I really shouldn’t associate my dog with this guy. But it’s just way too funny. I just hope I’ve made some other people laugh with my spreading of the ARC love ♥♥♥
Also. I’m sorry for this being a non Idol post…again!
