The PV has FINALLY been released on Dohhh Up! so when I saw the Hello! Online announcement on Twitter I was all over it like a rash. This is a truly amazing PV and a welcome breath of fresh air as it deviates from the ’same old same old’ style that the majority of us Morning Musume fans have come to tolerate with every release. I’m not very good at reviewing PV’s so I’m not going to bother with this one so as such I hope you don’t expect that. Well…it’s not that I’m no good at writing reviews, it’s that if I’m going to put a lot of time and effort in to giving my thoughts about something I like to use high quality screen caps (from ISO’s) but by the time those files are available everyone and their dog have written up their thoughts. No Eri included as I still really dislike her hair <_< I have a horrible feeling she’s going to keep the current style for a very long time which might actually knock her down my ranking a few places. Yep…I do find her incredibly funny and she does have a sexy body but physical attraction (which in my case is influenced quite a lot by hairstyle) does actually play a big part when it comes to my fandom. Especially now that we no longer have a regular outlet for them to project their personalities on i.e. no more TV shows. Sorry Eri but Jun Jun may have taken your 3rd place spot…

So this single gets released in 10 days time and for collection reasons I’ve ordered all versions apart from the Single V. Limited A comes with the ‘Dance Shot Version’ which I always enjoy watching. Limited B with the ‘Close Up Version’ which I hope are the parts in front of the disco ball as they are awesome and remind me of Pepper Keibu (love that song / PV). Finally, Limited C comes with the ‘Make Up Version’ which could be a little boring. I was hoping that the ‘Make Up’ parts were going to be like Berryz Kobo’s Munasawagi Scarlet where they are applying it themselves but they’re not T_T It’s tolerable in small doses (like what’s currently in the PV) but I can see myself getting tired of watching a whole 4 minutes of random peoples hands applying make up to the members whilst they sing in to the mirror. Especially because I know I’m gonna keep staring at that large mole on the hand who applies Ai’s make up <_< I could be wrong though, and I could end up being pleasantly surprised. We’ll see…

Roll on the 10th!

EDIT: I just saw some photos of Morning Musume arriving in China earlier today (for the Chinese New Year show) and Eri seems to have dyed her hair a darker brown! This could quite possibly save her from dropping down my ranking as it’s a much better colour then the ghastly orange it was before although I’m still not entirely sure and will need to wait for better photos / video. Come on Aho!

Kimagure Princess Green Dance Version

Another version of Kimagure Princess is up on You Tube, and I have to say, I really enjoyed watching this one.

It could possibly be because we’re treated to two (yes TWO!!!) Risa boob rubs *drooooooool* or it could just be because everyone looks great and the whole video flows quite well. I prefer the first reason though ^^

I’ve ordered Limited Edition C (with the extra covers) but it hasn’t arrived yet. I’m kinda thinking about ordering a second copy of the same version because I’m in two minds whether to open it or not. One part of me really wants to see the solo covers up close and personal, but the other part of me wants to keep it sealed for collection purposes. Gah…decisions…

Berryz Kobo = Pans People

As I’m trying to get back in to Berryz Kobo I forced myself to watch the PV for one half of their double A side, Ryuusei Boy ^^;

30 seconds in to the PV and the only thing that kept popping in to my head was PANS PEOPLE! I’m actually not old enough to remember Pan People, but my parents used to watch Top of the Pops 2 so I saw them on there a few times. Basically, back in the old days many songs didn’t have music videos (PV’s) to accompany them, so if the artist couldn’t be present (or if they were boring) on the most popular and famous chart show on UK TV (Top of the Pops) they’d have a group of girls dance on stage whilst the song was being played / sung. The girls never used to sing the song – just dance, and they were actually pretty good. Although in this day and age they’re more comedic then anything. Anywho…those girls were called Pans People (god knows why) and they gained quite a following back in the day.

Ryuusei Boy is very 70’s disco, and the dresses they’re wearing are also reminiscent of that era, so maybe the choreographer got some inspiration from Top of the Pops. Or maybe I just have a very over active / bizarre imagination! Either way I’m gonna think of Pans People everytime watch the PV lolololol. As for a review…I might try and do that some time depending on how I feel. I do like both the song and PV, which is a good thing.

Nanchatte Renai PV – Dohhh UP!

About 5 minutes after I said that they need to hurry up with this PV (over in omame), the video was put up on Dohhh UP! Freaky @_@

If I have to sum it up in one word, I would use ORGASMIC!!! This is fast becomming my favourite Morning Musume PV. Hells…what am I talking about? I’ll go as far to say that this is already my favourite Morning Musume PV of all time!!!

Some thoughts in bullet point because I’m still too excited to write a proper blog post… >_<

Loving the warehouse. Reminds me of Resonant Blue, although it’s better as it’s not just barren.
Is that wooden thing in the back ground a piano? That’s pretty thought out if it is, seeing as the song opens and closes with a piano piece. Maybe Jun Jun is there playing the opening to the song lololol

Risa’s hair and expressions are fookin’ smex. They actually all look amazing (even Aika), but Risa’s really stunning. Really!!!

Does Koharu have an earring half way up her right ear (that’s her right)? I remember that they used to be big in the UK. You kinda just pinch them in place o_O
Aika’s first move in the first rap part is reminiscent of Yossie in The Manpower!!! Get your own move!
The rap parts are great. At first I didn’t like them, and thought they ruined the song. They very quickly grew on me though. All the members that take part in the raps do a good job.

Ok…I don’t quite get what the outfit change is all about, but maybe if I read the English translation of the lyrics it might become understandable. Either way, I don’t mind the change that much, but I would’ve preferred it if they used the black and white outfits throughout the whole PV.
Ai with short hair was WIN, although I’m liking it now it’s at this length and not at the awkward ‘in-between’ stage. I would still love her to cut it again though *sob*

Gah…I can already tell that this PV is going to be on repeat. Last night I had the song stuck in my head for about 9 hours of my 12 hour shift. It actually got pushed out by ‘Incy Wincy Spider’, but don’t ask why because I haven’t got the foggiest <_< I love everything about this release – the song, the outfits, and the PV, so now I just have to hope that it does well in the charts. It sure deserves too. I’ve already pre-ordered the Limited Edition A and Commemoritive Edition. I just hope more people out there will buy it. BUY BUY BUY!

Nanchatte Renai PV Preview

Here’s a 16 second preview of Morning Musume’s upcoming release, Nanchatte Renai. This is taken from the end of a show called Kizuna Shokudou which featured Yuko, Iida, Nacchi , Kei, Yaguchi, Tsuji , Ai-chan & Risa. I’ve yet to watch the show, but it contains beer and crying XD

Anyway…the PV looks awesome, even from this small preview <3 They’re wearing the outfits used on the sinlges CD covers, which are downright sexy (little hats included) and they seem to be in some dark, deserted warehouse. I seriously cannot wait to see the full version of this, which should be out pretty soon…I hope.

Man there’s a lot of excitement for me from the Morning Musume camp at the moment. I don’t know how much longer my heart can cope with it lol. I really hope that they produce visual screens with these outfits on. If they did I’d have to buy all 9 (yes…I would buy Aika’s!!!)
